“Leche flan con mantequilla”

In all occasions, every Filipino family gathers together to have a reunion. Of course, a celebration will not be completed without the presence of the food. In serving the food, dessert is always the last course being served.
Leche flan is very popular in the Phillipines it was the top dessert of the said country. In every occasions every Filipino family have been always prepared Leche flan it was always present in the menu because without this dessert it seems like there is something missing. As we go on, I will share my experience on cooking this very specialty dessert of the Philippines and I will teach you on how to cook “Leche flan con mantequilla” which is there are added ingredients to make it more delicious.
Everytime we have celebrations may it be Birthday, Fiestas, New year, Christmas day and other special occasions I always help my Lola in cooking all the food to be prepared due to the said celebration. From helping my Lola I learned a lot about cooking recipes. So in this blog, I will tell you some discovery and secret about the Philippine Delicacy.
Ingredients
- 1 Dozen egg
- 1 kilo sugar
- Condensed milk
- Milk
- Vanilla extract
- Butter


Equipments:
- Llanera (oblong shape container)
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk


- “Llanera” is the one you need to make the leche flan an oblong shape. If you do no have a “Llanera” you may use any container that is an oblong shape.
- Start by cracking the egg and then separate the egg yolk and the white. Start by beating the egg yolk into the mixing bowl.
- After you beat the eggyolk you may now put the butter and beat the ingredients until the butter is already melt. If you do not have mixer you may do it manually by using fork. Be sure tht the egg is smooth. Add the condensed milk followed by the fresh milk and a little vanilla extract. Continue to mix all the ingredients until all of these are well blended.
- Set aside this and proceed into next procedure.
- Put 1 kilo of granulated white sugar in a boiling water and I wait until the sugar slowly melts and turn into caramelized sugar. After that I put the caramelized sugar into the Llanera.
- Slowly add the mixture into each llanera and then cover the llanera with foil.
- Steam the mixture good for 30 minutes or until the mixture will be cook
- When the mixture is already cook put the leche flan into the refrigerato so that it will taste like an ice cream.
- Lastly, put the leche flan in your table and the celebration is now ready
